World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enchantments.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the item has an upgrade slot available and that it meets certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded with a different one, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item it self.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times, based on weapon's level.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments, which are extremely effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of certain weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as quest rewards.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for any type of armor, but some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the strength or defense of an item by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.
Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require several tries. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors provide significant enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for certain types of builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of effects from the potion and can be repeated for more potencies.
The potion also has a custom color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a different the texture of brewing. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Cases.gg of lingering potions which can be made using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a small flag used to mark a boat's lateen yard. It could also refer to the trinket with gilded gold that is fixed to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. At its current level it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost an amount of energy.
The magic from this enchanted scepter appears to affect the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to create water and grass. At its current level, this trinket can make X% of floors become filled with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.
The item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unintended effect on the trinket, either increasing its duration or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one you had when you forged it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
